One day will never come

Ankush Jain

Over the weekend at The Ultimate Experience Birmingham 2024, I’ve heard many people say one day I’d like to work with Steve Hardison; One day, I will come to your men’s immersion or your school, Kush; One day, I want to be on the stage; etc.

As I spoke at the event, our language doesn’t just describe, it creates, but only always.

I see all the time that enthusiasm goes a long way. If you want to hire a coach, reach out to them. Forget all the mental chatter, the thoughts of I’m not good enough or I don’t have the money. One of the speakers, Martine Cannon, showcased beautifully how we are ALL HUMAN. No one has it all together all the time and we are all on this journey together.

My favourite Spanish proverb can be translated as “God said take what you want and pay for it”.

I love that. You can have what you want. It can be anything in the world. But you do have to pay for it. Another powerful speaker, Karan Rai, highlighted this in his incredible talk. Payment isn’t only money, it is time, it is energy, it is in action.

I might get in trouble for this, but if you reached out to any coach I recommend or any “important person” that you might look up to, but you were sincere in learning from them, you were willing to do anything they asked you to do (i.e. homework) and you showed up enthusiastic and committed, they would give you their time and they would help you.

You don’t need to wait for one day. One day can be TODAY. Language creates. Today I start the journey of creating a better life, today I am taking the first step in changing my marriage, my business, my life, my health etc.

I really had it much further out in the land of ONE DAY to work with Steve Hardison and I’m so glad I didn’t hold back because the impact this man has made on my life, my health, my marriage and me as a father is unbelievable.

You are amazing – I wish I could spend two hours with every single person who is reading this and let them know that. Alas, it’s not feasible or practical. I hope this post reaches you in some way.

Please don’t buy into the stories of you being small. I did that for years and it just kept me small. I now see myself as wonderful and I see you as that too.
