From Fear-Based Coaching to Creativity and Success with Steve Chandler – AJC 2024

1 EDITABLE

When I started coaching, back in 2012, I was all about pushing hard to create my business and clients. I thought that was the way to a successful practice, but as you can guess that came with limited results and a lot of overthinking. What I’ve learned is that pushing was fear-based; fear of not making it, fear of not being enough, and fear of being found out. It also leads to no results ever being enough.

One of the many things I learned from working with Steve Chandler for 8.5 years is that creativity is where the magic happens. When I shifted my approach to business, dropping those unfounded fears and focusing more on finding creative ways to serve my clients and following my intuition, everything changed (and it was a lot more fun).

The reason why I got into coaching in the first place was to make a real difference in people’s lives. I didn’t have lofty financial goals, in fact, I was even willing to take a pay cut. I just didn’t know that I could simply focus on serving and helping people throughout the entire day to build a business. I thought there was a big secret to becoming a successful coach. I thought it was a dark art but now I see that loving and serving has always been both the goal and the path.

I am delighted that Steve will deliver the first interactive masterclass for this upcoming AJC Coaching Career School in September. This is his final year of coaching before he fully retires to focus on writing, which he is so masterful at. I am excited and deeply grateful that he has committed to being faculty again because I know his two-hour masterclass will lead to real shifts and insights for those who participate. I aim to ensure that every masterclass is worth the price of the entire school.

Here’s my recent interview with him about moving from fear-based coaching to creativity and success.

P.S We still have some spots available for the AJC Coaching Career School 2024 and new people are signing in every week. If you are interested in joining and catching on to the dozens of resources including preschool webinars we have in the group, send me a message.
